Naturally Clean Your Pots and Pans

My daughter Sarah posted a tip on Facebook for naturally cleaning pots and pans. Since I had a couple of stainless steel pans that needed some attention, I decided to see if her method worked.

Ingredients

1/4 C Baking Soda in a glass bowl

1-2 TBL Peroxide. Stir to make a paste

Use a soft sponge to rub ( in my case, the stained bottom of the pan) until clean.

Toasted Almond Gluten Free Snack

Toasted Tamari Almond Snack 010

I was browsing the internet for new healthy snacks Dinny and I could take with us while traveling to Dallas. We don’t like to eat heavy when we’re on the road, but it is important we eat healthy. I came across this recipe by Sugar-Free Mom Brenda Bennett. Dinny and I love almonds and we use Tamari gluten free soy sauce as one of our many staples. Since we already had it on hand, I whipped up a batch.

YOU WILL NEED

Stainless steel sauce pan. We use Cuisinart

Parchment paper

1/2 C Raw Almonds

1 tablespoon Tamari gluten free soy sauce

Place the almonds in the dry sauce pan and toast on medium heat for a couple of minutes or until the almonds turn dark.

Lay finished almonds on parchment paper to cool for a few minutes.

This tasty snack is low in saturated fat.

If you make this delicious snack, I would love to hear your comments.
